In 1994, Gibson's Centennial year, many instruments have a serial number that begins with "94" for the year, with the remaining 6 digits indicating the ranking number. *Note – For Les Paul Classics made in 2007 and later, “MADE IN USA” was added to the back of the headstock The 1st and 2nd indicate the year of manufacture for the 6 digit serial numbers which we've been using since 2000.ĩ xxx = 1989 (4 digit number beginning with "9" used only in 1989) The 1st digit indicates the year of manufacture for the 4 & 5 digit serial numbers, these were used from 1989-1999. I am now going to share my love my fabric and quilting with all of you.īlogging will be a way of sharing new and ongoing projects, happenings in the studio and anything else that comes along. It didn't take long to also love fabric and the stash ) this journey began. The more quilts I made the more I wanted to make. The long winters I found myself building quilts. It was when I moved to Edson, AB that I found my love and passion for quilting. As years went on I would make my own clothes and repair my Dad's shirt, pockets and so on. I didn't have any patterns, but that did not slow me down.
Thread color did not always match, and didn't seem to bother me. Making things with a little of this and a scrap of that. As a young girl I would sit at my Nana's sewing machine creating with what ever I could find for projects. The "Lil Red Truck" that was in Wanawesa, MB and made the drive across the prairies and is now calling Cranbrook home in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.
